Anemoia

Asociación Anemoia is the crystallization of a collective project of artists and researchers that operates like a mycelial network: fragmented yet hyperconnected. The members of the collective are based in different cities (Santa Úrsula, Stockholm, Seville, Valencia, and Madrid), maintaining an organic and constant connection among ourselves and with the broader cultural ecosystem. Our practice investigates, both collectively and individually, the relationship between people and images, prophetic times, and landscapes as embodiments of specific temporalities. Our methodology is characterized by differentiated stages of work: a deep theoretical exploration that precedes and grounds subsequent artistic experimentation.

As a composer, he has created original soundtracks for short films such as NOAH (2021) and La Danza de las Manos (2022), demonstrating a narrative capacity that he brings to the collective’s visual projects through experimentation with the ambient genre. His theoretical research focuses on art theory, particularly the relationship between medium, image, and animality, having explored areas such as artistic creation within the furry community and animal imagery in Sámi culture.
